The Surgical Specialties Unit is located on the third floor, units 3A & 3B of Legacy Meridian Park Medical Center. We also support the Complex Discharge Unit (CDU) that is on the third floor, 3C. Number of beds: 39 beds, all private beds.
You will help provide assistance with ADLs, monitoring vital signs, measuring intake and output, ambulating patients and collaborating with our interdisciplinary team on providing the best care for our patients.

Legacy Cancer Institute Medical Oncology and Infusion provides a range of services to meet the needs of patients and families coping with the impact of a cancer diagnosis. Cancer Care Unit is the only designated inpatient cancer department in Legacy Health. We are the oldest Cancer Network on the West Coast. We are a small part of a larger network that includes, inpatient, outpatient, nurse navigators, tumor boards, etc … We care for complex surgical cases, including urology, colorectal, gynecology, breast and hepatobiliary (these are the biggest volume), but also medical oncology, end of life/palliative, autologous stem cell transplantation and a unique patient population of gender affirmation surgeries.
