All rooms have capacity for remote telemetry monitoring.   Primary patient population/diagnoses/interventions/services: 1) Stable cardiac disorders which may or may not require continuous cardiac telemetry monitoring 2) Chest pain 3) Electrolyte imbalances 4) Hypoglycemia requiring management 5) End-of-life care 6) Stable GI Bleed and Gastrointestinal disorders 7) Asthma/COPD/Dyspnea and pulmonary disorders 8) Altered mental status related to opiate overdose or other medications 9) Persistent nausea and vomiting 10) Vertigo/dizziness/syncope 11) Overflow surgical patients (room availability permitting) 12) Stable transfers from PCCU/CVICU on non-titratable cardiac drips with primary cardiac diagnosis 13) Overflow trauma patients (room availability permitting) 14) Severe pain not resolved in the ED 15) Skin and/or facial infections which may/may not require wound care management/antibiotics
